Designing life? Creating life? I’m no artist … (Part One: Contrast)

Oh, but you are an artist. You just might not be very good at it

If your life was a painting, would it be a barely coherent blur of tons of colors mixed together in such an abstract fashion that when you take a step back to look at it and find yourself wondering “what in the hell am I even doing?” This has been something on my mind for quite some time.  Our lives become so deep, convoluted, and complicated, that we often times fail to apply even the most basic of design principles to our lives.

You are a designer, a creator, and arguably, an artist that is creating life. I’m going to impart some of the most basic design principles to point out how we almost always overlook them, and discuss how it could have dramatic implications for your life, and your newest project; living!

Time – Shadows in the River of Light

What will you do tomorrow? How will it be affected by what you did yesterday? Does it matter?

There is nothing i can do about that, it happened, and now it’s over. The best thing i can do is just move on … forget about it.

What i’m about to describe is the dynamic between events suspended in our past, or projected into our future, and our understanding of these events as we swim through the medium of time in a moment known as now.  Consult the image below, and then decide whether or not you’d like to ride in the raft I’m providing you here, for a few moments, in this grand river.

Nicotine: An Idea (King) Struggling for Survival

We’ve seen it happen … Many of us have even done it.Your best friend looks at you and has already given you the visual cues that it’s time. The motions are in place, your friend knows, that you know, but still looks at you and says “I need a smoke …”We’ve all seen it happen … The monstrous / king of an Idea strikes with its whims, and flaunts as all powerful – in a highly deceptive and ingenious way. What many do not see, is that this situation represents an incredibly important and far reaching concept. In addition; this Idea King is dying, constantly under attack, and it knows it.

A Line Through Concepts of Oneness and Enternity

Greetings.

This morning, on my way to mechanical monotonous perpetuation of social needs (money), a line of thinking was inspired within me. It was one of those lucid moments where when you look at the situation there was nothing really “inspiring” going on [in the common understanding]. I was driving, tired, caffeine infused, it was pouring rain, my neck hurt extremely bad, and i had completely forgotten to change clothes from yesterday.

Then these thoughts moved through me, and i spent a few moments in my head organizing and following them:

One of my friends said to me a few weeks ago: “What if when you reincarnate, you don’t necessarily reincarnate in what we would think of as the future, but say, in the 1400′s?”

Spiritual Warming & the Cosmic Metamorphosis

Greetings in Love / Light.

The major media outlets, the alternative media outlets, and just about everyone else is talking about ‘Global Warming’ – The big bad monstrous Global Warming. As you can see by reading the title of this post, i would like to throw a slightly different spin on it.

First of all, I’d like to make one thing very clear. I think that the movement to cleaner more efficient energy sources and the movement to have a more eco-friendly global consciousness is a beautiful, wonderful, and needed paradigm shift.

Things you may not hear about global warming

Multidimensional MasterMINDS

I want to briefly touch base on the multidimensional capacities of the human being in direct relationship to our ability to affect the past as well as the future. But first, a slight divergence. . .

Divergence
I just finished a wonderful conversation. It amazes me sometimes how during conversation you’ll be explaining something to someone that has resided in your head for quite sometime but maybe never had the opportunity to articulate itself, and when you do spew it out during the conversation you find yourself pretty amazed by the language you chose to express it and the true insight behind the idea/understanding.

When the idea is in your head it exists in a rich symbolic form very different from words and written/vocal language, and then wen you articulate it into vocal/written language you get to see/experience how your preconscious mind chose to assemble it with words and then understand the meaning based on your current associations with those words. . . Pretty common sense, but the dynamic is fascinating on some level as well.

DNA – A Universal Language?

Greetings in Love/Light.

Certain information has moved through me today and sparked a memory from several years ago, when my life was quite different.

The time I’m speaking of is when i was writing ideas down on napkins and on the back of cheesy flyers that we used as handouts at the, now classic, Blimpies Subs and Salads i was employed at for so long. I remember: • the green neon lit room, • sitting in the mildly uncomfortable (booths in-between roast beef sandwiches for the locals) . . . and i would jot down [what i now consider to be] incredibly insightful observations and technologically advanced ideas for production.

Conversation can truly be a beautiful thing. We tend to think that our thoughts are communicating and happening in the same way that our language operates but that is simply not true. Sometimes a thought’s underlying meaning is not revealed until we see how our pre-Conscious chooses to assemble it into language based on our connotative and denotative meanings associated with each word and its progression.

A conversation allowed this thought process to be articulated into our language.

As we can see most things in our observable universe tend to be “separated” into two categories. As for Human we have our thoughts and then we have our emotions / feelings. These are two very different things yet seem to happen simultaneously and without falter. They always seem to be occurring together.
