Resurrecting the Beats per Minute (BPM) to Milliseconds Delay calculator

Note from Fugit:

Hey, everyone!

It’s come to my attention that a number of people were still searching for and clicking on the old program I built for the old site called: Beats per Minute (BPM / Tempo) to Milliseconds Delay Calculator. I’ve linked it right there, as you can see. If you’re looking for it, and you were linked here, just click that link and enjoy.

If you’re not a musician, and you’re wondering what the heck that thing is right there, it’s simple: When adding certain effects to a musical instrument, such as a guitar, bass, vocals, or whatever, the software of the hardware that you’re using will likely measure the effect’s parameters in milliseconds. The problem is that musicians don’t think in milliseconds, they think in terms of note intervals and rhythms. You might want a delay that hits on every quarter note, eighth note or sixteenth note. Some effects programs have that functionality built right in, but most don’t. I’ve needed to perform this simple conversion many times and finally just decided to create a program for all to use.

I should have known better than to take it down … It’s a valuable program. It’s free, and I will host it here for the foreseeable future.

Thanks, everyone!
